Why CEI?
CEI brings actors together across sectors toward the common goal of improving American communities.
We believe that, over time, The Ideabox’s comprehensive list of all the inspiring programs and ideas for programs will create a virtuous circle in which more people are inspired to engage with their communities because they realize that, aside from being a good thing to do, it can be fun. As America comes to terms with the need for service and sacrifice in order to meet our many challenges, we want to inspire a new generation of Creative Entrepreneurial Idealists.
This concept comes out of our core beliefs:
- The uniquely inspiring power of creative and artistic ideas
- The benefits of strong communities, social engagement, and teamwork
- The need to have fun, even while doing serious work
- America’s ability to be the best by leading through example
Combining these beliefs, TIB aims to create a permanent voice in the culture for the “dreaming to doing” ethos, one project at a time.
