Welcome! TIB is the home of creative community building. We do a few things here.  We bring together the creative sector, activists and community builders, and the people and programs who want to support them. Through listing and categorizing all creative community building programs nationwide on our Big List, our goal is to facilitate the creation and execution of many exciting projects that will improve communities on the ground and help make civic engagement cool in the culture. Yes, we've seen the first signs of dawn lightening the horizon. Our spiffy new website is on its way. Soon this blog will be rendered obsolete and incorporated into TIB 2.0, which will have all the functionality we're been talking about: -an animation of how we connect funders and creative community building programs -a searchable list of extant and proposed programs that are incubating with us, including a couple of newbies! -helpful diagrams explaining our utility across various sectors, and our MBA "live case" program -this blog -and other goodies We're very excited.
